To help us fix a problem quickly, please tell us your device (for example "iPad 9th generation"), your iOS version, the app version (shown in the App Store), and what you were doing when it happened. A screenshot helps too.

Common questions

How does the free trial work?

You can use the app free for 30 days from the first time you open it. After that, Practice mode, the Pen and Curve tools, colors and export need the optional monthly subscription.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Braindots Advanced Illustrator. You can cancel there at any time. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

I subscribed but the features are still locked.

Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account you used to subscribe and that you are online, then close and reopen the app. If it is still locked, email us with the time of purchase.

Where are my drawings stored?

On your device only. Use Export to save an SVG, PNG or JPG (or a replay video) to Photos or Files, and Save as Design to keep an editable copy in the app's gallery. Deleting the app deletes its drawings from the device.

The Practice designs are not showing.

Practice designs are downloaded from the internet the first time. Connect to Wi-Fi or mobile data and open Practice again. Designs you have already opened stay available offline.

Which export formats are available?

SVG, PNG and JPG for pictures, and MP4 video that replays your drawing stroke by stroke.
