Privacy Policy — Braindots Advanced Illustrator

Braindots Advanced Illustrator (also known as BrainDOTS Kolam Studio — "the app") does not collect, sell, or share any personal data. There is no account or sign-in, and none of your drawings, photos, or personal information is ever sent to us.

What stays on your device

• All drawings, designs, saved practice progress, and exports are stored locally on your device, in the app's own storage area.
• The date your free trial started is kept on your device so the app can tell when the trial ends.
• The app can access your photo library, but only when you explicitly choose to import a reference image — nothing is uploaded anywhere.
• The app can open your device's share sheet (e.g. to save a design or share an exported image or video). This only happens when you tap Share or Export, and it is your device's own feature, not a service we operate.

What the app downloads

• Practice mode downloads extra kolam design pictures from our server (hosted on Google Firebase). This is a plain, read-only download of the designs: it carries no account, no device identifier, and no personal information from the app.
• As with any request on the internet, the hosting provider necessarily processes your IP address in order to deliver the files to you. We do not receive it, store it, or link it to you.
• Downloaded designs are kept on your device so they can be opened again offline.

Subscription and payments

• If you subscribe after the free trial, the purchase is handled entirely by Apple (App Store). We never see or store your payment details or your Apple Account.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions. Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple.

What the app does not do

• No account or sign-in of any kind.
• No analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs.
• No personal data is sold or shared with third parties, because none is collected.

Children's privacy

Since the app collects no personal data, it does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this ever changes (for example, a future update adds cloud sync or accounts), this page will be updated first and the change will be noted in the app's release notes.
